Hi

Welcome back, or, if this is your first visit, welcome to Dee’s blog.

Daniel Sumner

2012 03 11 1114 Good Guys v Dodgy Gurus Daniel SumnerLast year I did a series of posts on Internet Marketers to follow, the Good Guys. Here is another one.

The Good Guys are what Internet Marketing is all about, they are ethical, honest and have integrity.

None more so than Daniel Sumner. I have known Daniel for some time and comment on his blog regularly. He is one of the nicest and most helpful Internet Marketers I know. To illustrate that point, I had a technical problem and Daniel made a special video and posted it on YouTube for me.

Do you love or hate adswaps?

Hi

Welcome back, or, if this is your first visit, welcome to Dee’s blog.

This post is another one of Dee’s rambles (more like a rant!)

Why do online marketers always offer you somebody else’s products when you join their mailing list?

How often do you find a blog that you like and join the mailing list only to be bombarded by offers from everyone on the planet except the blog owner?

Adswaps are one of my pet hates (pop ups come a close second!). I don’t join a list to get offers from some else.

The thing that I find difficult to get my head around, is that the marketer of the list you joined must have their own products. How else could they do adswaps?

Do you schedule your blog posts?

Hi

Welcome back, or, if this is your first visit, welcome to Dee’s blog.

Updating your blog regularly is essential if you want to maintain a Google page rank and get ranked by Alexa.

It isn’t always possible to update your blog frequently, but if you can’t, try to be consistent and post on the same day.

If you have a series of posts written and use WordPress, schedule them from your blog to post on the days you want them to appear.

If you create your own products, you can easily create a series of posts from short reports, an ebook, or even from articles. You could also edit and adapt PLR for the same purpose.

Update for February 2012

Hi

Welcome back, or, if this is your first visit, welcome to Dee’s blog.

Losing my laptop for nearly a week put me behind schedule for January 2012 and also lost me a lot more data than I originally thought I had lost.

However, in Februaury I caught up with my blog posts and article submissions for both January and February.

I have also been working on a new product and a freebie. The freebie will be uploaded on www.deedawberonline.com once it is finished. It is a shortened version of a new product.

I have to sort out graphics and add some pages then I can continue with my new product. Hopefully they will both be ready soon.

How much time do you spend on research?

Hi

Welcome back, or, if this is your first visit, welcome to Dee’s blog.

On my last post we discussed how much time you spend on your blog, today we are going to discuss how much time you spend on research.

There are many things to research when you are in online marketing. One of the most important is keyword research. Most people can’t be bothered to spend time on research because they consider it a waste of their time.

Nothing could be further from the truth. Research is one of the key elements in online and offline marketing.

All major companies do market research before launching a new product. That way they can gauge reaction and make changes according to the demands of their targeted market.
